Who is a "fan of hospitals ?

Maybe I am panicking , but, I'd try to go today, with battery voltage declining so . Lithium ion may be a miracle battery, but miracles exist not .. they too ..die ..
Hospitals DO have a rough and tough assignment , BUT , they can improve ..Its a matter of basic attitude, IMO . And, it may be possible , in the future, for this battery change (it IS more than just that ) to be an outpatient procedure ... I am thinking of "super-clinics" .

Change out needed quickly

I'd be on the phone with your EP ASAP in the AM. Let him know what's going on.

The 90 year old guy who sits next to me in church needed his PM swapped out. As the voltage decreased on the PM, it stopped pacing in the ventricles. He went from being energetic to being wiped out in bed.

As soon as his PM was swapped out with the new one, he was back up to better than 100%. Even went grocery shopping on the way home after he received the replacement PM. "Should not have done that.", he said.

You may be in a similar situation. Hopefully they'll move up your replacement time.

Oh, and the 90 year old asked how long his battery would last. Ten years was the answer. "See you in ten years!", he said. "No you won't!", said the doctor. "Why not???", he said. "I'm retiring in five years.", said the doctor.

Hope everything goes well. Let us know.

Positive mental attitude

Of course , attitude is mental .. and having it positive is vital ..easier said than done .. this forum helps.. most posts are way over my head with so many abbreviations, acronyms, and strange medical terms.. I'll try to learn , as hard as this is ..
My battery, too, is "good" for ten years, may expire when I do , at age 85 ..

You know you're wired when...

You have a T-shirt that reads “Wired4Sound”.
