No Probs for me

Hi
I have had my PM for 16 years and have been drunk many times, I have had no real problems apart from a hangover, the only thing is if you are prone to PVs your heart will race and its not nice.
But if you can put up with the Pvs just go out and enjoy your self, you only live once and getting a bit tippsy is much more fun than getting drunk, you will remember what you did last night and what others did and thats a whole lot of fun telling them haha
Pacer and alcohol

Unless they have developed something new I don't know of any pacemaker with a breathalyzer built in so it wouldn't know if you were imbibing.
It's possible that whatever condition led to your pacer could affected though.
I'm not agin alky, but I don't recommend getting drunk. I did enough of that in my younger days and did pass out once after too much brandy. The passing out didn't bother me, but the headache the next morning did.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
It's true for me!

I could pass out if I got drunk with or without a PM! :)
