I have a CRT-D since the 17 of December and I always take Aleve for pains. You can ask your pharmacist, this is a good suggestion.
Are you taking a blood thinner?

You don't say if you are taking a blood thinner. Warfarin/ Coumadin, Pradaxa, Xarelto, etc all warn about taking NSAIDS and increased risk of bleeding. Tylenol is the only thing I can take, as I was on Warfarin/Coumadin for years and am now on on Xarelto.

It made a HUGE difference in my life. Once I got it, I was finally able to run, and ride my bike long distances.

Nothing about having a pacer prevents us from taking Aleve, Advil, Tylenol or any other otc pain med. If you have other conditions or take other medications, check with your pharmacist.
I'm allergic to Aleve. When Tylenol alone doesn't do it, I alternate with advil. Taking at the same time can cause upset stomach, but it's ok to stagger them every 3 hours. This is what the pediatrician says to do when kids have a high fever.
Hot bath with epsom salts can help with bruising.
