I have had my pacemaker for approximately six months. I will
need to go and have a mammogram next month. Is there something I should do before going for this mammogram, or
should I wait longer. I am doing fine otherwise, atleast so far.

I had a mamogram after implantation and was worried, but they told me they do that all the time. It was not a problem, no pain or complications.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
no problem

Just tell them you have it before they start. The place I go is digital, supposedly they are more gentle than the older machines. It also means they can pull up my last one quickly. The first time I had one, they did a very gentle scan first to see where the leads are, then did the regular scan.
