Good morning Pacermaker Club friends,
I am still working on getting into shape... Round is a shape isn't it? :p Anyway I am still taking Yoga classes, learning to dance and working. I had some trouble at first with my hip causing me so much pain that I forgot about my PM! I haven't had many issues with the PM except when I try to twist my left shoulder back some. It really pulls on the muscles around the PM. I don't rotate nearly as much as my fellow yogis because of it. Seems to be working out rather well for me. My pain in my hip is less, I am able to tie my own shoes again and I am not as "weak" feeling anymore. The thing about yoga for me is... if it hurts or causes pain I am stretching too far, so I back off a little and continue to stretch in moderation. :)
Cheers,
Pacergirl

Tattoo Man, you have somehow managed to bring tears to my eyes. Somehow you see right to the heart of me (no pun intended) and it seems that you understand just how I feel.
Thank you so very much for your encouraging words. What a wonderful spirit you are. I think I will begin to make some notes as to how my workouts are going and I have no plans to give up anytime soon. Yesterday was a very hard day for me. I could hardly walk into the yoga studio. I couldn't sit crossed legged and I had to sit with my legs in front of me. I did not give up though, I closed my eyes and thought about the people that can't get on the floor and I got my head straight about it all. After awhile I was able to do some of the poses. Then I was able to finish with the class. So, I won't quit and I will try everyday to go and do something. Thank you soooooo much. It can get so lonely out there on the workout floor when I can't quite get into the proper balance and pose.
Thank you,
Pacergirl

Pacergirl,it is so much easier to do nothing rather than something
Every something is so much better than a nothing.
How about keeping a diary?
Its so easy to look back over a week or a month and feel that you have not progressed..write down what you have done and what your expectations have been..make your goals/expectations do-able.
Make every movement your own, no one deserves it more than you, feel your movements, see how smashing they are...how about being the first computerised Yogi...??
I reckon the PM Club will support you here.
Keep in touch, and take care
