Golf Driving Range!

Hey Gang, this past Sunday I went to the driving range. It was a nice day and I hadn't been to the range since July(the start of my ordeal) I got a small bucket of balls(31) and divided them into piles of three. I began with my pitching wedge. I'm at 10 wks. now. I slowly dragged the club back and struck the ball. My first shot was good and I hit the green. I continued then went to my 7 iron. I gave it more power and the ball travelled as a 7 iron should. Great!

Next up was my 25 degree hybrid. Nice shots again. I finished with my 19 degree Taylor Burner. The longest. Out of 31 shots I blew maybe 3...mostly concentration and thinking. But this always happens to golfers. I was pleased and kept lenghtening my arc little by little. Soon to come will be the woods, longer irons and the driver. Any questions, feel free to ask. I feel no different than 10 weeks ago except for holding back a little! Lets hear from you fellow golfers about what your up to. I haven't been to the couse yet, but soon. Also our range is weatherized so I can still hit at 20 degrees.

Started Playing After Seven Weeks

by Bionic Man - 2009-09-30 04:09:32

I got my pacer in June of 08. I couldn't wait to get out to play. I tried after 5 weeks. It was a big mistake. I was sore for almost a week. I waited another two weeks, tried it again and have been golfing every weekend since. I usually walk nine holes and have had no problems. I'm in Mass. our ranges are heated also. I'll play in any weather although I haven't played in the snow yet. I do go to the range in the winter though. The only problem is I hit the ball great at the range and lousy on the course.
Sounds like you're going to be ready for some fall golf.
Good Luck,
Bob

Playing again Friday...

Taking my boss and two customers out to golf on Friday at a Scottish links designed course. Looking forward to hitting the clubs again! Take it slow and easy and everything will be great!

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.
