I can feel self test

It occurs every 21 hours on my pacemaker. My heart pounds a little. I always thought there was something wrong. The boston scientific person said it is a self test. I am glad to know this. Next visit they will set a longer length between tests. It doesn't bother me now that I know what is going on. It is kinda cool that I can look at the time on my watch and know when the next test is. My last self test was at 6:30 p.m. and my next test is at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow.

Glad you have it figured out. The less these little sensations and thumps upset us the better.

It's strange they would set it to an 21 hours rather than 24.

It is just a minor caveat

of having a pacemaker. It was 3:30 today and I could feel it like a slight thumping for approx 50 seconds. It doesn't even wake me when I am alsleep. It seems when I am exercising it does not start until I stop and stops immediately if I start exercising then resumes after for about 50 seconds. But it is like a computer it primary job is to keep the heart beating properly.

There is a setting on mine called Day at Rest where the pacer tries to find a time when I'm asleep or inactive to run the test. It sounds like the actual time is rounded off to 30 minute points.

Clever little beast!
