Op on Tuesday

Hello,
I had my PM replaced a year ago. It was a "piece of cake." The op took less than and hour. The pre-op prep takes the longest. I arrived at the hospital 6 a.m. and was out by 11 a.m. and went to lunch with my husband.

I was under anesthetic and didn't feel or hear anything; but when I had my original PM implant, I could hear talking in the operating room, but didn't feel anything.

Different doctors.

Good luck.

I don't remember anything, that's how I wanted it! If you're nervous about it, just tell them and they can give you good stuff :o)

I stayed overnight when I had a lead replaced, with my other two I also had early appointments and was home in time for lunch.

I had a second crt-d put in last november. I was awake the whole time. Knew everything going on. Just a piece of cake. I stayed about half a day. I'm pacing 100%. God Bless!
