I have had two cardioversions and 2 ablations since my pacemaker implant. I did eventually had to have my atrial lead moved but that was from the ablations, cause it just wasn't getting a good signal where it was originally placed.
After my cardioversions (for atrial flutter), my pacer sensed and paced just fine. You'll get an EKG afterwards to check everything out.
Good luck, hope your cardioversion is successful.

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!
No Problem

I've had two attempted cardioversions and neither one affected my pacemaker. Yours will be okay too.
