Hi, they had to shock me 8 times after I went into cardiac arrest. I now have these lovely marks on my chest. It has been about 2 months. Anybody know of any way to get rid of them? thanks for the help

I had a bull's eye mark on my back (back of the heart) after 5 cardioversions over a few months. Went to Dermatologist & he said in some folks that the skin gets damaged & will fade. And sure enough about a year later the marks were gone. You may check with a derm doc & see what yours are. Hope like mine they go away.

I had Cardiac Arrest & Near death experience amost eight years ago. I was hit with the paddles five times & still have bruises. But I can live with that for at least I am still living & enjoying life.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
